The 9th edition of the Regional Victoria Showcase brought together some of the best-known and new exemplars of industry this week to meet and network with Melbourne business event buyers and meeting planners.
This highly anticipated Showcase is BEV’s annual marquee event and is a must-visit for meeting planners sourcing and seeking new inspiration in regional Victoria, and this year the 50 exhibitors certainly did not disappoint. Held at The Metropolis in the heart of Melbourne, the Showcase shone a spotlight on the region’s broadest-yet selection of offerings for organisers to design and plan events – from start to finish.
The Showcase packed a punch – with BEV launching its 2024 Regional Victoria Planner’s Guide, a fun and rousing “Make Your Own Mimosa” for guests upon arrivals and plenty of new business connections fostered with industry.

The stars of the Showcase and regions across Victoria certainly punches above its weight – with BEV having secured over 80 business events in 2024 so far, dispersed across the state and which will generate an estimated economic impact of $9.6 million to regional economies.
