Victoria’s High Country runs north along the Hume Freeway, with Wangaratta around 2.5 hours from Melbourne and Albury Airport servicing the eastern reaches. Mansfield sit closer to the city via the Maroondah Highway, with the Alpine Resorts at Mt Buller, Mt Hotham and Falls Creek a scenic drive further on.
