On 28–29 July, Business Events Victoria exhibited at the Associations Forum National Conference 2026, held at the newly opened Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre.
Joining BEV at the regional Victoria stand were partners from across the state, including Business Events Mornington Peninsula, Business Events Ballarat, City of Greater Bendigo, Greater Shepparton City Council, Mildura Rural City Council, Lancemore Hotel Group, The Sands Torquay and RACV Conferences and Events.
The conference also provided the perfect opportunity to launch the 2026–2027 Regional Victoria Planner’s Guide, showcasing the destinations, venues and experiences available across regional Victoria and providing planners with inspiration for their next business event.
Having followed Nyaal Banyul’s journey from construction through to completion, it was a particularly special milestone to see the venue welcome its first major national conference. The event brought association professionals from across Australia to Geelong and provided an opportunity to showcase the city and the wider region as a destination for business events.
Delivering the exhibition build was BEV partner Moreton Hire, marking the first exhibition in the brand-new precinct and helping bring the regional Victoria stand to life.
Across two days, the stand was a hub for conversations, connections and new opportunities, with attendees discovering the diverse range of destinations and experiences available across regional Victoria.
A huge thank you to our partners and everyone who stopped by to connect with us. We look forward to continuing these conversations and welcoming more conferences, meetings and events to regional Victoria.
