Mantra Lorne offers premium conferencing venues and contemporary accommodation at the start of the Great Ocean Road. Sitting on 12 acres of lush landscaped grounds, Embracing its stunning environment, the resort is committed to sustainability, as evidenced by its recent Ecotourism certification. Mantra Lorne is an ideal venue for weddings and holds the distinction of being Victoria’s largest residential conference destination. We specialise in making your next event memorable. Catering for small management groups to large conventions with over 500 delegates. Mantra Lorne has a range of venue options from our boardrooms, to our pillar free convention centre, as well as offering eight additional meeting rooms for breakout sessions. We also have our own on-site production department which offers an extensive range of audio visual equipment as well as decor and theming, entertainment sourcing and a complete stage management service. Mantra Lorne is a unique venue and ensures you have access to world-class facilities and equipment. Our conference venue has semi-permanent infrastructure in place, which includes video projectors and screens, advanced audio system, theatrical lights, lecterns, microphones, dimmable house lights, permanent rigging structure and scissor lifts and multiple three phase power outlets in each room. Our expert onsite team of conference and catering professionals will ensure your event delivery is a success.

Meeting Rooms & Function Spaces

Convention Centre

One of the largest function spaces in regional Victoria, our purpose-built, pillarless Convention Centre is designed to accommodate up to 550 delegates. It is perfect for large conferences, trade shows, or dinners for up to 350 guests. The Convention Centre features state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, including multiple data projectors, speakers, and lighting. It can be customised to suit your needs, with soundproof dividing walls allowing the space to be segmented into three smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings. The venue offers breakout space on the terrace perfect for tea and coffee breaks. Furthermore, there is exhibition space which can house up to 15 booths.

Heritage Ballroom

The historical charm of the ballroom, built in 1864, which can seat 180 delegates banquet style or up to 210, with its original pressed tin walls, timber floorboards, barn doors, and stained-glass windows, adds an exquisite touch of elegance and nostalgia. This combination of classic architecture and functional space creates a memorable setting that will surely impress your guests

Heritage & Observatory Conference Rooms

Located within the heritage-listed Erskine House, all rooms offer natural light and high ceilings and are ideal for smaller meetings of up to 50 delegates or perfect for breakout sessions. 

Sea Grass Lawns
