As one of the largest flat floor auditoriums in regional Victoria, the Ballarat Civic Hall has been home to some of the world’s biggest rock acts, unforgettable Debutant Balls and the grand galas, festivals and events. Following a major renovation in 2019, the Ballarat Civic Hall now embarks on a new chapter in its creative and cultural life – opening its doors once again for cultural, corporate and community events.

In this short time since the venue has reopened, the Ballarat Civic Hall has re-emerged as one of the region’s most popular and adaptable spaces, seamlessly hosting a diverse program of high-quality, entertaining and events, expos and performances for local, regional, national and international organisations. The layout of the Ballarat Civic Hall allows great flexibility and the capacity to host multiple events each day and night. These can include small meeting through to VIP events and launches, full live performances, trade shows, dinners and events. As one of the few venues within the Ballarat CBD to have a large outdoor apron which enables both indoor and outdoor event outcomes.
