Business Events Victoria (BEV) is pleased to launch its 2017 familiarisation program to showcase Victoria’s beautiful destinations and inspiring venues to event planners.

BEV has been running specialised famils for qualified event planners to all parts of regional Victoria since 2014. “The hosted program is designed in partnership with local regional experts to be educational and relevant for conferences as large as 1,200 delegates to a small boardroom strategy session. At the same time, we strive to ensure that each program is fun, interactive and enjoyable,” said Chris Porter, Executive Officer, Business Events Victoria.

“Famils are the best way to experience a destination before booking a venue. Our 2017 program will feature exciting new destinations and will be an invaluable opportunity to update planners with venues and unique team-building experiences that event planners are not aware of and would not have considered otherwise,” says Mr Porter.

“As a busy event planner, these famils provide me with the perfect opportunity to visit multiple venues in a destination and allow me to book with confidence. The famil also presented the group with additional quality venue options, which was a pleasant surprise and certainly made the trip worthwhile,” said Christina Cregan, Creative Incentives.

BEV invites event planners to express their interest for one of its upcoming famils. Famils planned for 2017 include Gippsland, Phillip Island, Great Ocean Road, Albury Wodonga and Wangaratta, and Greater Geelong.
